One pattern, your coat

Every part of this coat is a choice you make:

Two lengths — two pineapple repeats for a midi version, three for a floor-length one. Four sleeves — sleeveless with an open armhole, straight fitted lace sleeves, mini bell sleeves with a picot edge, or maxi bell sleeves finished in full pineapple lace. Two hoods — a solid hood in plain rows, or a lace hood in matching fan stitch. Four closures — open with no fastening, a sash tie at the waist, front corset lacing with grommets, or back corset lacing with grommets.

The waistband is adjustable in length, so you can place the waist high for an empire line or lower for a longer torso.

Sizes

Designed with approximately 2 to 3 inches of positive ease, allowing for the natural stretch of the recommended yarn. If you fall between two sizes, take the smaller one.

Sport weight / #2 yarn — shown in We Crochet Shine Sport in White and Cream · H / 5.00 mm hook · for back lacing, 3/8" grommets and a yard of ribbon · for front lacing, ½" grommets and ribbon.

Gauge

16 dc × 8 rows = 4" × 4", in sport weight yarn on a 5.00 mm hook.

Skill level

Intermediate. You should be comfortable with double crochet, fan stitches and basic garment construction. The pineapple pattern is worked row by row, with clear instructions at every step.
